Privacy Policy

1. Who We Are

Roca Bod ("the app", "we", "us") is a fitness tracking progressive web application available at rocabod.com. The app is independently developed and operated.

2. Data We Do Not Collect

Roca Bod operates entirely on your device. We do not:

• Collect your name, email address, or any personal identifiers
• Store your workout or body metrics on our servers
• Track your location
• Sell or share any data with third parties for advertising
• Use cookies for tracking purposes

3. Data Stored on Your Device

All app data is stored locally on your device using browser storage technologies (IndexedDB and localStorage). This includes:

• Workout logs — exercises, sets, reps, weight, duration, and notes
• Body metrics — weight and calorie entries
• Templates and settings — your personal preferences
• Display name — if you choose to enter one in the Profile section

This data never leaves your device unless you explicitly choose to back it up to Google Drive (see Section 4). Clearing your browser data or cache will delete this data from your device.

4. Google Drive Integration

Roca Bod offers an optional Google Drive backup feature. If you choose to connect Google Drive:

• You are redirected to Google's own sign-in page — we never see your Google password
• We request permission only to create and access a single backup file in your Google Drive
• Your backup data is stored in your own Google Drive account, not on our servers
• You can disconnect Google Drive at any time from the Settings screen
• Revoking access removes our ability to read or write your Drive — your backup file remains in your Drive until you delete it manually

Google's use of your data is governed by Google's Privacy Policy. Roca Bod's use of Google APIs complies with the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.

5. Analytics

The Roca Bod landing page (rocabod.com) may use Cloudflare Web Analytics to understand how many people visit the site. Cloudflare Analytics is privacy-preserving — it does not use cookies, does not track individuals across sites, and does not collect personal information. If Google Analytics is added in the future, this policy will be updated accordingly.

6. Third-Party Links

The app contains a link to Ko-fi for optional developer support. Ko-fi is an independent platform with its own privacy policy. We have no access to any data you enter on Ko-fi.

7. Children's Privacy

Roca Bod is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect any information from children. If you believe a child has used the app in a way that raises privacy concerns, please contact us.

8. Data Security

Since all data is stored locally on your device, security depends primarily on your device's own security measures. For Google Drive backups, data is encrypted in transit and at rest by Google's infrastructure. We recommend keeping your device and Google account secure with a strong password and two-factor authentication.

9. Your Rights

Since we hold no personal data on our servers, there is nothing for us to delete or export on your behalf. To delete your data:

• On-device data: Use the "Clear All Local Data" option in Settings, or clear your browser/app data
• Google Drive backup: Delete the backup file directly from your Google Drive, or disconnect Drive in Settings

10. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, the "Last updated" date at the top of this page will be revised. Continued use of the app after any changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
